When talking about event partners, the conversation often turns to financial support, prizes or visibility. These are of course a great value-add to the event and extremely important, but from the perspective of the event organizer, the partners who enable the high-quality implementation of the event itself are at least as valuable.
At its best, a partner is not just a sponsor – they are part of the team organizing the event.
Mass offers a fantastic event environment for Tiirismaa Trail. The race center is located in the finest start and finish area in Finland, and we also have access to all the facilities important for the event: showers, toilets, dining areas and other infrastructure. Without a functioning race center, building a high-quality event would be significantly more challenging.
City of Lahti enables the event to be organized in many ways. In addition to marketing support, we get access to competition center materials, such as fences, tables and cones. In addition, the city enables the event to be organized by granting the necessary permits for the use of the area. This kind of cooperation is invaluable. In addition, we naturally utilize the areas of the municipality of Hollola.
Print point is responsible for the visual appearance of the event. They provide banners, beach flags, signage, route signs, marking materials, small flags, event clothing and many other details that make the event look finished. A clear and high-quality visual appearance improves both the participants' experience and the safety of the event.
And finally, perhaps the most important resource – Lahti Orienteers -37. The club's decades of event expertise and a large group of active, happy and encouraging volunteers are one of Tiirismaa Trail's greatest strengths. Year after year, in the feedback from participants, the volunteers emerge as one of the best things about the event. It's great to read that feedback, because it speaks of a spirit of togetherness that money can't buy.
The success of an event is not created by one thing or the work of one person. It is built on cooperation, trust, and partners who genuinely want to be involved in building the best possible event experience for participants.
